The legal Instrument for Operations of PDSS is Nigeria Police Force Order 20 as amended signed by the Inspector General of Police on the 18th of September, 2017.
In the course of the week LAC with its partners were able to secure release of suspects detained in several Police Stations across Lagos State which include Ikorodu, Agbowa, Ejigbo, Iseri, Somolu, Ketu, Ikeja, Festac, Ajegunle Police stations among others .
It was a big relief when Magistrates attended to suspects in detention in some of the Police Stations which brought succour to detainees that could not access Courts as a result of Judiciary Staff workers (JUSUN) strike.
