Attorney General Alliance – Africa in Collaboration with Lacon Hold Paralegal Workshop

A three-day workshop on Paralegal Service in Nigeria held in Sheraton Hotel, Abuja on the 26^th – 28^th July 2022. The workshop was organized by the Attorney General Alliance (AGA) – Africa in collaboration with the Legal Aid Council.

Speakers at the workshop include Mr. Aliyu Abubakar (DG LACoN), Mr. Jesus Romero (Chief Deputy Attorney General, Nevada), Randal Gilmer (Chief Deputy Attorney General, Nevada), Mrs Ogechukwu Ibenegbu (Criminal Litigations LACoN), Dorcas Oduor (Principal Deputy to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Kenya), Mr. Bamidele Ibikunle (Director International Operations Dept LACoN), Mrs JaneFrances Bianeyin (International Operations LACoN), Ebelechuku Enedah (PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors).

 The participants were from Baze University and Legal Aid Council. Various subjects were included in the presentations. Topics Presented include, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Paralegalism, Communication Skills, Human Rights and Children and Young Persons Rights.
