LACON GIVING VOICE TO THE VOICELESS IN BAUCHI STATE.

The three Defendants have been standing trial for the Offences of Criminal Conspiracy, Criminal trespass, theft and vandalisation of Airtel Solar batteries before the Federal High Court Bauchi since 2017 with charge No: FHC/BAU/CR/02/2017.

The Defendants were represented by the Coordinator LACoN Bauchi State Officer who a preliminary objection challenging the Jurisdiction of the FHC to try the offences of theft under Criminal Code Act.

After serving the Defence with a Notice of Preliminary Objection, the Prosecution abandoned the case.

Today, Wednesday 6th March 2024, the Court discharged all the Defendants on the basis of the Defence’s Objection.
